Lights Planner Action HQ

Stop by the shop to grab a new planner, sign up for one of our many meetups or workshops, or just come and craft with me. LPA is outfitted with plenty of community crafting space. I encourage you to bring your planner, journal or memory keeper with you to use while you visit.

I've got plenty of ephemera, markers, glue, scissors to help you take your project to the next level. Also available are premade crafting kits - perhaps you don't have a planner to play in, grab a kit, follow the instructions and make something special in store. These also make wonderful engaging gifts for friends!

If you need to avoid stairs, please use the Side Entrance parking lot located at 6 Whitins Rd. Enter through the 2nd floor door access and turn right, LPA is at the end of the hall!

If you decide to park on Main Street, you will experience Vaillancourt Studios, a Christmas Ornament craftery, unlike any other! (I highly encourage a visit!) Enter through the main doors and head up the stairs to the second floor. Take a left out of the stairs, and a left at the end of the walkway. LPA is at the end of this hall!

LPA sells exclusive merch and planners made instore just for you. If you'd like to shop while you visit, we accept cash, all major credit cards, and apple pay!

There are also a number of other hand crafted shops to stop in and visit while you're in the area, including our immediate neighbors, Indigo Enchantments, Heirloom Emporium, and Dragonflies & Amber, who are all located on the second floor with us.

For your Tummy:

There are a million places I could send you for good food in the area, so don't be afraid to ask for a cuisine specific recommendation, because I'll have one!

If you're looking for quick, easy, and on the way - stop by Tony's Pizza on Rt 146. They're a great local pizza spot that also does a killer chicken Caesar salad.

If you're looking for something more chain-ish there is a TGIFridays, Applebees, Longhorn Steakhouse, Panera Bread, 110 Grill and Red Robin at the Shops at Blackstone. There's also a Michaels, Sephora and Target in this plaza, so be prepared to want to shop more,

If you're willing to explore a little further into the city, my hometown is known for some of the best eats outside of Boston. My favorite Worcester spots are

  • Mare e Monti - I've been to Italy... and this is still hands down the best Italian dinner you'll every taste. If you happen to be there on a weeknight do not miss out on the flaming cheese wheel pasta.
  • Mezcal - Everyone loves tacos so this place is a no brainer. But what keeps me coming back is their fresh made guac. You need to try the guacamole flight here - do not skip the crunchy variety. It'll change your life.
  • Bocado - if you like sharable plates - this tapas spot is not to be missed. I highly recommend their Bocado Experience - the one listed for two people can easily feed four. Do not be fooled!
  • The Boynton - Because sometimes you just want a burger and fries. This is the perfect pubby spot for big servings on a budget. Also they serve buckets of alcohol. Literal beach buckets. You're welcome.
  • Volturno - There are a billion pizzao spots in my city but if you like napolean style pizza, this is the place to go - I highly reccomend their pistachio pizza.
  • Altea's - Amazing breakfast and lunch served from scratch. Located directly across the street from Lucy's Cake's which makes amazing baked goods to take home.
  • Cafe Reyes - A total hole in the wall but the absolute best cuban food in the city. Best of all, this is a location with a mission. Cafe Reyes is also a jobs training program for residents and graduates of the Hector Reyes House, a bilingual and bicultural residential treatment program for Latino men in recovery.

Please, please, please do not hesitate to ask for another recommendation - I had to stop somewhere but I love to eat and have tried most of the restaurants in a 50 mile radius of my shop, so I know I know a place that you'll love to go.
